Last of the Far Gods

On the dusty surface of a dying Earth, the few remaining humans cling to whatever gods, old or new, that they can find, placing their faith in remnants of a forgotten past or the mysterious promises of a prophet without a face or shape. But the gods of the twelve towers remain in their massive cities, spinning new realities for those who would seek them out. In this apocalyptic desert, Jack Chisholm, the last policeman of a lost city, lightning-quick with a gun, is bent on avenging his daughter’s death at the hands of the prophet’s followers. He means to lay waste to anything and anyone who interferes with his quest, except his son Pete, a teenage boy with a quest of his own. Joined by the small-town sheriff Quinn Barkis and a sickly prostitute called Bucket, the small band of survivors sets out toward the last of the city towers, to seek the Far Gods and end the prophet’s reign of terror, each uncovering a destiny that could save their world or destroy it forever.
