When comic book artist Kendell Coffin trades a calm life in Nebraska for his dream home in California, his tortured memories follow him. He struggles to leave his mark on a world saturated with entertainers, hoping others remember him for great things. Yet, work is work, and he accepts any jobs which come his way; no matter how small. As he puts behind failures and lost love, he realizes it might be something other than his past that haunts him.
