Chaix and Morel Architects

The works by Atelier d'architecture Chaix & Morel et associes, presented through thirty projects and buildings, reveal an architecture that expresses a restrained elegance able to gracefully occupy and develop the contrasting qualities of their sites. Their approach subtly conveys the fundamental truths of the materials and structural concepts and is always accompanied by an innovative approach to light which is seen as a material able to express and create space. The architectural critic Francois Chaslin decodes the environment and opportunities that have allowed Philippe Chaix and Jean-Paul Morel to stand out through their professional abilities.
