Commemorating 50 years of the Treaty of Rome Brussels puts face his destiny, sometimes rejected, often caressed, international city and the capital multiple. While a blueprint for the European Quarter, and finally emerges as the Brussels government announced the development of an international development plan, the exhibition A Vision for Brussels - Imagining the Capital of Europe, Palais des Beaux-Arts is echo this ambition now assumed. Cynical for some, for others impertinent, inappropriate for most. Yet as the discussion organized by BRU about it demonstrates, a broad consensus is emerging for the importance and urgency of a proposed city-active and innovative.
