Molecular Bioinformatics: Algorithms and Applications

This book attempts to provide an overview of advanced computer applications derived from and used in biosciences and in doing so to help define and promote the newly emerging focus on molecular bioinformatics. It is intended to serve as a guidebook for both biologists who are about to turn to computers and for computer scientists who are looking for interesting application areas. The reader will find a variety of modern methodogical approaches applied to number of quite diverse topics. The book is also intended to inspire further research in this exciting and vastly expanding research area.
