Weld design for hollow section trusses

The use of hollow section structures has received considerable attention in recent years. Since the first publication of CIDECT the additional research results have become available, especially relating to design of welds between members of trusses joints. The objective of this publication is to present to designers, teachers and researchers the most up-to-date information on the assessment of the resistance of welded connections in gap and overlap K type joints made of hollow sections.
