Morphotaxonomic studies of nematode parasites of Fishes from India: Morphology and Taxonomy of Nematode Parasites

In this book entitled MORPHOTAXONOMIC STUDIES OF SOME NEMATODE PARASITES OF FISHES deals with morphology, taxonomy, geographical distribution, prevalence host specificity seasonal variation and statical analysis of nematode parasites of fishes collected from five provinces of India, namely Uttar Pradesh, Orissa, Kerala, Tamilnadu, and Maharashtra during the year 2001-2005. Present study deals with nine family, seventeen Genera and thirty-four species, out of which two genera and twenty six species are new to science. The taxonomic position of certain known genera and species has been discussed and reviewed in the light of recent knowledge of the groups. Check-list and geographical distribution of Nematode parasites of fishes of India have been also given. Five research papers from the part of above manuscript were published in different research journals and four are presented in various national and international conferences.
