Design And Analysis Of Shorted Gap Coupled Patch Antenna: An Approach To Enhance The Bandwidth And Size Reduction Of Microstrip Antenna

The main objective of this book "Design and Analysis of Shorted Gap-Coupled Patch Antenna" is to investigate the gap-coupling technique of bandwidth enhancement. The size of the antenna has been reduced by using the shorting pins and slot loading which results in shifting of resonance from higher to lower frequency. The patch antenna investigated in this book is capable of operating in the L-Band i.e. 1.5-2GHz. It has several applications. The antenna investigated here can be used in array to increase the bandwidth further.
