Punjabi TTS System Using Hidden Markov Models

This book includes detailed and illustrative description of converting Punjabi corpora into speech signals over a sufficiently large database.The signals ,thus, generated can be used in various interactive applications. Toolkit using the concept of Hidden Markov Models viz. HTK is used for the conversion.Step-by-step elaboration is given in the book with relevant examples for better clarification. In all, the book provides a good insight in the field of text-to-speech conversion area especially for Punjabi text.
