Cosemeceuticals, cosmetic formulations developed for pharmaceutical purposes, has attracted attention of researchers across the globe in recent years. Despite of extensive armamentarium available to treat UV rays associated skin damage and subsequent photo-ageing, search for a suitable alternative still remains elusive.
