Organic chemistry is a vibrant and growing scientific discipline that touches a vast number of scientific areas. The purpose of the present book is to incorporate advances in the area of mechanisms of named reactions. The present book deals mainly with the mechanisms of 200 important name reactions. In preparing this book, I have taken great care to treat each reaction with clarity and consulted the latest syllabi laid down by almost all Indian universities. The latest journals and periodicals have been consulted for its compilation.
