North of Roswell

An elderly man, a retired rancher living in New Mexico finds an object in the desert that irrevocably alters his life. Although he immediately recognizes the dangers of allowing anyone to know of his discovery, he soon finds that a discovery of this magnitude is not easy to keep secret. Within a month he is forced to abandon his ranch and the only life he has ever known in an attempt to start over somewhere that he can hope to keep his secret. He has lost his old life, but has found a new one along with a new family that he would do anything to protect. He soon finds, however, that the past will not stay in the past. There are people that will stop at nothing to obtain the object that he found in the desert, and they know where he is.
