States, Regions and the Global System: Europe and Northern Asia-Pacific in Globalised Governance (Transformation, Development, and Regionalization in Greater Asia)

This volume combines theoretical-methodological studies and systematic, as well as empirical, contributions on regional, interregional, and global aspects of regionalization in Europe and Asia. It also analyzes the foreign policies of countries in the northern Asian-Pacific region, including Russia. In order to provide a comprehensive insight, the book presents studies focusing on political dynamics and relations, on economic cooperation and integration, on security questions (both in a narrow and in a wider sense), as well as on issues of cultural, political, and historical understanding and identity-building. By bringing together contributions by academics from different Asian and European countries, the book contributes to the joint and ongoing debate about the challenges of regional and interregional cooperation and integration.
