Adoption and Usage of AISEMA Systems: Automated In-Process Software Engineering Measurement and Analysis

AISEMA systems have already been around for many years promising cheap, extensive data collection and support for decision making and software process improvement. Although successful in collecting large amounts of software engineering data, AISEMA systems are not widespread in industry, mainly because the actual costs, challenges, and benefits remain unclear. This book draws on a concrete, long-term experience in industry to offer a better understanding of the adoption process, usage, and potential benefits of AISEMA systems.
