AEROBIC GRANULATION WITH SUPPORT MEDIA: Performance of Aerobic Granular Sludge

Aerobic granular sludge has just been invented for a decade. It shows more advanatages compared to the conventional activated sludge in terms of settling ability, dense structure, high biomass retention, biodiversity, and treatment performance. The incorporation of aerobic granule with support media could enhance those above characteristics, acceleration of granulation process and shockloading control. Because of those advantages, Aerobic Granular Sludge Process would be a prommising Technology in the near future.
