Safe Motherhood Interventions: During Pregnancy Period of Koya Dora Tribal Women

To improve the quality of health of mother and child, safe motherhood interventions are essential aspects. This monograph is first of its kind and tribes of India to provide information about the interventions carried out by the healthcare delivery systems to reduce maternal and child mortality. The present study women are well attended by the health workers at various stages of pregnancy, but due to deep-rooted traditional beliefs still some of the women are not utilizing the modern health services. This monograph is useful to the researchers involved in reproductive and child health and also useful to the non- governmental organizations involved in the field of health.
