ERP Implementation Literature Survey: A Literature Survey for ERP Implementation with Special Reference to Large and Small Enterprise

The purpose of this book is to present the previous efforts and findings in ERP implementation related areas. It presents an overview of previous research for ERP implementation in information systems for the organization of various sizes. The first part of the paper deals with evolution of ERP concept along with the literature reviews of the ERP implementation phases. Second part of the paper deals with the various critical success and failure factors of the LEs (Large Enterprise) as identified by the various researchers along with the definitions of SMEs (Small Medium Size Enterprise). Thorough literature review of all the factors has been taken as the major theme of the literature review to cover the period of 1979 to 2009.
