Impacts of Jatropha production on Household Food poverty: Calorie intake improvement through jatropha production

In this study participation in the Jatropha production was determined by a combination of factors. Households in the treated area were more likely to have larger family size, and owned more livestock and proximity to the tarmac road, market places and veterinary services, However, they far from office of agricultural development agents. And also the study shows that jatropha production boosts the calorie-intake of the jatropha producers.
