This is the third volume of the series dedicated to the memory of the Russian scholar Iurii Lotman (1922-1993). It has a traditional composition for memorial publications, containing articles on the history of Russian literature, folklore, and linguistics, that are connected to the scientific interests of Iu. Lotman. The core of this volume is materials of the international congress Semiotics of Culture: Cultural Mechanisms, Borders, Self-Identification (2002). Limited number of volumes 1 (1995) & 2 (1997) are also available.
