As part of the textbook set, this volume includes three parts. Part one covers the essentials of the Chinese Materia medica including their features, the processing and the application. Part two describes in detail the 18 categories of the material medica. All the Materia Medica includes name, functions and indications, dosage and usage, and precautions and comparison if applicable.
