As many people know, Yan Qing is another name for Lost Track (Mi Zong) style. This set, with English and Chinese instruction, shows not only the set but the basics and hand positions of Hong Quan. This is an intermediate length set with 40 postures. This particular Lost Track is in the style of Hong Boxing, a strong Northern Style often thought of as almost synonymous with Shaolin. VCD enclosed showing a demonstration by Dang JiangZhang.
This is a wide open and graceful set with Pigua and Chuo Jiao type movements. This version, keeping faithful to Hong, has very open arm movements and light footwork. This set requires not only limber legs but loose shoulder joints as well.
