Periodic Structures 2006

The aim of this book is to provide the reader with an overview of the recent advances in applications and analysis techniques of microwave and millimeter-wave components based on the concept of the periodic structure. The book contains thirteen chapters, authored by 39 scientists from 18 different research groups (universities, space agencies, or research centers), spread worldwide. The book is divided into three parts related to frequency selective surfaces, metamaterials and bandgap structures, and the problem of applying periodic structures in linear accelerators.
