Diffusion Study in Japan 2006

The contributions of Matano (1933) and Suzuoka (1961) to the study of the diffusion in solids are well known. This book introduces recent research on diffusion study - including research topics in fundamental materials and advanced technological materials - in Japan, where active contributions to the field continue to be made.
