The book of life

Radhey Shiam, a renowned Hindi haikuist, inspired and motivated me with his wisdom and intellect. His curiosity awakened me to minute details of my surroundings. His spirituality lifted me in hope and faith. His empathy for the common man garnered more empathy from me. His humbleness beget humbleness. His tragedies in life became my tragedies. His losses...my losses. As he neared the end of his life, my concern grew, as did my fear of losing him. His death...crumpled me. His absence haunts me.
