The Invisible City

The urban space revisited by Irene Kung becomes, through her camera, a different, silent, and motionless space. An area that we know, because we recognize the monuments she portrays—extracts from the memory of the cities, from their past or their future, futuristic—and partly surprising.

Irene Kung, born in Bern in 1958, lived and worked in Madrid and New York as graphic designer, painter, and photographer before settling in Italy.
