Magdalene Fenici (Mavy) is a gynecologist and rebellious woman, who lives out her femininity in a Rome embroiled in the hustle of everyday life. Tired of her daily routine, she travels with her best friend to Mexico, a mystical country imbued with the magic handed down by ancient civilizations, where she comes to understand the true meaning of life. Back in Italy, she receives an invitation to a medical conference in Chicago that, in truth, is only a cover for her recruitment to a secret project funded by the world’s major economic powers – a project that pushes the frontiers of medicine. Mavy’s decision to take part in this adventure leads her to the discovery of the existence of a Masonic lodge of doctors, who are the legacy of a scandalous project started by Hitler during World War II. During her stay in the city, she will be forced into a race against time to save her own life. And, finding herself in the wrong place at the wrong time, she becomes acquainted with a bitter truth that will radically change the course of her existence.
