Aftergraduation, he joined Hyundai Shipyard in 1971 at the beginning of the industry.He was sent to Scot Lithgow Shipyard in Scotland for the on the job training,worked as an opening member of London office in 1972, New York office in1974 and became representative in London office covering the activities of thegroup in Europe, Africa and Middle East. He majored naval architect in theuniversity, but later engaged in ship sales for the unknown shipyard in theunder-industrialized country. He has established 'HWANG AND COMPANY' 1990,and engaged in shipbroking and consultancy till now.
