Description

English summary: This volume defends the hypothesis that Luke 22,4344 was partially omitted from Egyptian manuscript tradition during the 2nd century AD. The first part deals with the literary genre of the Gospel of Luke as an evolving category of reception and underlines the collusion between history and poetics. The second part demonstrates that the Jesus portrayed in Luke is not without emotions, brings new elements to external attestations, and proves the existence of a polysemy of agonia at the beginning of the common era. French text. A substantial English summary at the end of the volume allows a wider readership to see the main line of argument. Claire Clivaz is assistant professor of New Testament and Early Christian Literature at the University of Lausanne (CH).
