Land Registration and Cadastre in Selected European Countries: Austria, Bulgaria, Croatia, Hungary, Netherlands, Serbia (Center of Legal Competence)

This publication — by the Center of Legal Competence (CLC) in Austria — focuses on real property rights in the new Member States of the EU and candidate countries. It is based on the results of the comparative study Review and Analysis of Real Property Registration and Cadastre Systems in Eastern and South-Eastern Europe commissioned by the World Bank within the framework of the Austrian Trust Fund. The book gives an overview on the land registration and cadastre systems of selected old and new EU Member States and South Eastern European countries, thereby outlining their strengths and weaknesses.
