Description
Louis Janssens is Professor Emeritus of Moral Theology at the Catholic University of Leuven, Louvain (Belgium). He is known for the development of the personalistic approach to moral judgment, which permeated the documents of Vatican Council II. He made a vital contribution to the understanding of sexuality and marriage within the Christian-Catholic context. "Adaquately considered" is a major study of Janssens' moral methodolgy. Christie is a member of the Department of Religious Studies at Baldwin-Wallace College, Cleveland, Ohio (U.S.A.). She completed her doctoral studies at Duquesne University, where her study of Louis Janssens' contribution to the renewal of Roman Catholic Moral Theology began in earnest.
