He obtained his Post graduate degrees in Mathematics and Statistics from Osmania University. He has undergone departmental Advanced Training in Meteorology at Pune. He has rich experience both in aviation and non-aviation weather forecasting, cyclone warnings, Flood Meterological Work, Agriculture work. He has published more than 30 research papers in departmental journals - Mausam, Vayumandal and in national international Seminars and symposiums.
