This management tool for the discovery and analysis of biodiversity is a comprehensive taxonomic catalogue of organisms. Using the example of a previous publication on Diplopoda by C.A.W. Jeekel in 1971, this volume list all generic and family-group names in the Diplopoda described between January 1958 and December 1999 with full literature citations. The volume can be used as a tool to facilitate the science of Diplopodology and to help discover and describe this species worldwide.
