The University of Hong Kong Museum Journal 1

This inaugural edition of the University of Hong Kong Museum Journal (to be published every two years) features a collection of essays on museological and art historical issues. Written by western and Chinese scholars, this bi-lingual English-Chinese publication will be of interest to students and researchers of Chinese art history, archaeology, and museology and includes essays on the Yuanming Yuan, Ming, and Qing figure paintings from the collection of the Shanghai Museum, the repatriation of museum collections, university museums, and motifs used on pottery found in Hong Kong.
