Recognizing that safe and adequate water supplies are an essential component of fighting poverty and disease, the ADB Water for All Publication series focuses on understanding the water issues facing poor people in developing countries in Asia and the Pacific region.
An analysis of 30 widely varying cases from 20 countries, this study explores water issues as they affect the poor in many parts of the world, makes suggestions based on the lessons learned from experimental interventions, and challenges widely held beliefs about water management.
