The first ranking of the worst presidents appeared in LIFE magazine in 1948. Since then the list has expanded from the original five to include eleven candidates, one of four American presidents, as the worst in US history. All eleven combined, with either their poor choices in male or female friends or with their incompetence, corruption and/or their sheer stupidity, don't come close to the record of G.W. Bush. Incompetence, corruption, torture, secret prisons, Cheney, Gonzalez, Rumsfeld, Wolfowitz, Rice, Iraq, mishandling Afghanistan, the absolutely needless loss of American and Iraqi lives, the loss of respect, and the loss of treasure, all of these and countless lies comprise the "legacy" of GW Bush, the worst president in US history.
