Principles of Accounts

This book is written to cater to the needs of students preparing for the GCE 'O' and 'N' Level examinations. To aid students in concept attainment, the contents of this book are arranged in a spiral progression, beginning with an introduction to the accounting world and the accounting equation, to more difficult concept such as accounting for fixed assets and depreciation, incomplete records, and information technology and accounting. Wherever possible, use of realistic figures is avoided so that the learning process is not hampered by cumbersome calculations.
