The religion of Abraham & the state of Israel: A view from the Quarʾan (Ansari memorial series)

The Zionist Movement has used the Bible to build its case for the establishment of the State of Israel in the Holy Land. The Bible declares that the Holy Land was given to Abraham. It goes on to declare that the divine covenant with Abraham was extended to Isaac but excluded Ishmael (peace and blessings of Allah Most High be upon them all). Thus the Bible delivers to Jews exclusive title over the Holy Land while Arabs, who are descended from Ishmael, have no right to that Land. Not only does the Bible give exclusive ownership rights over the Holy Land to the Jews but, in addition, it declares that the grant of the Land to them was unconditional. Regardless of whether or not they kept the Covenant with Allah Most High, the Land would still be theirs.
