If in the first volume Pablo Antonio Cuadra focuses in Central American literature, in Literary Critic II he concentrates and works on Nicaraguan literature, from “Nicaragua’s prehistory, people, Nicaraguan exotic vocation, reasons of being in an emerging territory, with lakes and volcanoes, constantly emigrating tribes, kind of a bridge-earth on which numerous groups had passed in search of their promised land”. Also included are various works dedicated to Rubén Darío and honoring various writers. A very rich volume.
