Volume II ratifies the recent and tough Nicaraguan poetic tradition called Generation of the 40’s, Ernesto MejÃa Sánchez, Carlos MartÃnez Rivas & Ernesto Cardenal; other contributions and Generation of the 50’s that retakes the trends and elements of the Vanguardia that are displayed in different intentions, directions and Anglo-American, British, Brazilian and French appropriations: telurism, neo-baroque, surrealism, existentialism with Christian elements, political poetry, testimonial, with new ideological signs, renewal of traditional forms, such as the garcilacista sonnet and the confirmation of the voice of Nicaragua other coast, the Atlantic Coast.
Impure poetry, Exteriorism or colloquial poetry, narrative and anecdotic –a kind of new epic poetry— that is projected to the rest of the continent. This is how all Nicaragua sings, allows other perspectives, other visions, gathers and puts its poetry in order.
