Hudson Taylor and Maria

The story of Hudson Taylor is one of adventure and excitement - of improbable answers to prayer, opposition from the establishment and triumphs of faith. Even more interesting is the story of the relationship at the heart of it all - the story of Hudson and Maria Taylor. There are few love stories as enchanting as that of Hudson Taylor the pioneering missionary and Maria Dyer. This 1962 stated first edition hardcover book is in very good condition. There is a small spot on the front cover that could be a burn, and another small spot on the back cover near the binding. The covers have a little wear on the corners, and the pages have a slight yellowing. Other than that, everything is in excellent shape. There are no writings or marks that I could find anywhere in the book. The binding is tight and like new. This mid-sized book (8" X 5 1/2") has 212 pages, including an author's note and list of sources at the end. The cover is light brown with a marble-like pattern, with a plain dark brown lining over the binding and about an inch onto the front and back covers.
