Principles of Thermodynamics

This book is intended to present a thorough treatment of the fundamentals of engineering thermodynamics. The general thermodynamic relationships are introduced early in the text in order to provide for the development of numerous equations used to evaluate property changes, and the transfer and conversion of energy. Certain concepts of quantum mechanics and the kinetic theory are included as a means of strengthening the presentation dealing with the characteristics of matter.
