This book fills a need not approached by the usual work on the subject. For those seeking specific knowledge this book should endear itself to the serious student. While many authors list a great number of remedies for a specific illness, almost none give this information from their own experience and explain what to use, how to use it, when to use it, and why to use it, together with any caution, if any, to be observed. While this book is new the work is not. The manuscript is a verbatim reproduction of the looseleaf mimeograph lessons used by Dr. Shook when he taught this work to many people immediately after World War Two.
