Bonsai Techniques

This book was originally written to serve the students in the author's bonsai workshops, who he felt needed more reference information than provided by the mimeographed pamphlet he had been using. Everything an aspiring bonsai practitioner needs to know is explained -- from tools and supplies for the workshop to notes on daily and monthly care. Charts are provided for soil mixture, transplanting and soil changing. The text is profusely illustrated with both photos and diagrams. At the front of the book are 16 magnificent full-color plates. All the bonsai appearing in the photographs are from the author's personal collection and were both collected and created by him. If you could only have one bonsai book, this would be it.
