This IDC study examines the worldwide market for wireless and mobile network infrastructure (WMNI), which is likely to register 12% growth in 2004. The market will remain on a trajectory of growth over the forecast period, even though the rate of growth is likely to decline to single digits in the coming years.

"Infrastructure spending has turned the corner for the better, and the demand for mobile network infrastructure is likely to grow in the coming years, especially given corporate users' and consumers' interest in mobile solutions," notes Shiv K. Bakhshi, Ph.D., director of Mobile and WiFi infrastructure research at IDC.
