ITIL-Related Software: A Preliminary Mapping

This IDC study examines how ITIL processes map to specific IDC system infrastructure software markets. This mapping offers a convenient method to model acquisitions in the markets that form parts of ITIL-based solutions. This helps IT vendors that need to partner or acquire the right mix of software to create a solution, as well as IT departments that need functionality to manage their internal environments.
