From the supplier: The use of computer graphics displays of speech patterns is assisting students in correcting pronunciation patterns. Language classes are generally too large to allow for pronunciation work. The Kay Elemetrics Speech Spectrographic Display (SSD 8800) displays patterns of student vocalizations. A similar product is the Visi-Pitch, which displays speech patterns and provides a range of statistical measurements to show students how close their pronunciations are to their target.
