From the supplier: The Kansas Commission on the Future of Health Care, a state advisory agency, has issued the first draft of a plan to establish the Health Care Purchaser for All Kansas (HCPAK) as a single-payer health insurance services agency. HCPAK would be a private agency that would resolve complaints, pay all bills, collect health insurance premiums and contract with Health Service Networks (HSN) for coverage. Private health insurers will not be able to function in Kansas but could compete to be part of the HSN and possibly bid to administer the HCPAK.
