From the supplier: A study by Future One Policyholder Retention Studies found that the service an insurance agent provides is an important factor on whether an agent will retain personal lines or commercial lines accounts. While 80% of the clients polled would switch agents for lower rates, 51% would switch agents if their current agent did not show enough interest in their needs. Approximately 40% of insurance clients would switch agents in order to get better advice and/or better coverage.
