From the supplier: Print media is attempting to define its role in a world where multimedia technology is rapidly growing in popularity. Viacom, US West and Time Warner Cable, which are testing out projects in Castro Valley, CA, Omaha, NE, and Orlando, FL, respectively, are among the companies trying to integrate news information and online services in an effective manner. These projects are not yet commercially viable and what is available now is extremely basic technology. However, these projects are encouraging because their premise is that news will never be irrelevant and that though the form may change the information will still be valid.
