From the supplier: The Independent Insurance Agents of America (IIAA) has created an Urban Opportunities and Minority Agents Task Force that seeks to encourage insurance companies to hire minority insurance agents that work in urban areas. The IIAA's task force was formed in recognition of the need of the industry to develop urban and particularly inner city markets that are rich with prospects. In addition, a program addressing minorities and urban areas may forestall punitive legislation aimed at eliminating redlining practices.
